Join Agile Rabbit and Dr. Thomas O’Shea-Weller, from the University of Exeter for a gentle walk and talk around the parks of the city for 45 minutes.
His research focuses on the behaviour of social insects, such as our much-beloved pollinators: bees! One of the many things threatening the UK’s bee population is an invasion of hornets that originated from the Asian continent.
He will speak about the efforts to prevent the predator hornets from settling and how the public can help.
The event will
last approximately 45 minutes and is part of the British Science Festival.
