The World Turned Upside Down

Run time: 15.00 – 17.00

‘The World Turned Upside Down’ is an innovative documentary about dementia and communication; it takes us behind the scenes of an original play which drew on evidence from the Improving the Experience of Dementia and Enhancing Active Life (IDEAL) research programme.

Tracking the journey of this production from the inspiration to the rehearsals, the documentary shares the real-life experience of people with dementia and their carers.

Catherine Charlwood, from IDEAL and the South West Peninsula Applied Research Collaboration (PenARC), will chair a post-viewing Q&A between the audience and the research team who commissioned the documentary.
Please note that this event will include discussion of dementia.
