The UK’s climate future

Run time: Saturday 9 September 13.00 – 19.00, Sunday 10 September 11.00 – 17.00

It’s sometimes hard to imagine what our climate might be like in the future because it can be quite variable. There are many factors that are influencing how it might evolve. Luckily, scientists from the Met Office have developed the UK Climate Projections (UKCP) report to capture some of eventualities for our changing climate.

Delve into the report with James Pope, Senior Climate Scientist at the Met Office to explore this data through games. Focussing on local changes in Exeter you’ll use dice based and card games to understand the role of variability in our climate system.
