Spit Game

Run time: 20.30 – 22.00

From Hip Hop to Grime, Rap Culture has been led by communities since its inception, typically in the form of "Crews". Spit Game represents the modern-day crew – a collective of young creatives, led by culture and art, to develop skills in creative excellence, financial independence and combat societal issues facing young people.

Join Benjamin Turner and other members of The Spit Game to discover how young Black creatives use art as a tool to express, challenge and celebrate. Through live performance and video, they’ll shine light on some of the issues facing the crew such as criminalisation, mental-wellbeing, career-readiness, and education.
Please note that this event will include discussion of serious youth violence and racial barriers.
