Mudder on the seafloor

Run time: 15.00 – 16.30

Under the surface of the sea lies a world that we call the benthic layer. This weird and wonderful environment is teeming with life forms and organisms that the team from the University of Exeter spends their time exploring.
Join the Convex Seascape Survey to get your hands dirty and play around in the mud which is full of sea life whilst exploring the relationship between marine fauna and carbon.
Sip cocktails inspired by the sea floor, work with paints, make beautiful murals using coloured pigments found in mud and sculpt clay objects all in the name of mud, glorious mud.
Please let the staff at this stand know if you have any allergies prior to consuming any of the items.
