Creative climate communication

Run time: 19.00 – 22.30

Climate change will affect everyone, irrespective of the language they speak, how they communicate, or how much they understand about climate science. The communication of climate change therefore needs to speak to everyone.

A team of researchers at the University of Exeter, including Hugh Roberts, Director of Research and Impact for Languages, Cultures and Visual Studies, have been co-developing a series of projects that use creative writing by climate change scientists to do just this. Join him and his colleagues for a workshop that will inspire you to produce your own creative pieces and take a fun, creative, and multilingual approach to engaging with our changing climate.
