To combat it, scientists and engineers are continually finding innovative ways to recycle them. Farukh looks at the process of grinding down and spinning plastic bottles to create the first-of-its-kind prosthetic limb sockets made from recycled plastic bottles.

The British Science Festival is coming to Chelmsford!

Chelmsford came alive with over 100 activities, experiences, talks, performances and workshops that took place throughout the city centre, including on campus at Anglia Ruskin University. Events were scheduled throughout the day and into the evening from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 September.
