Get hands-on with Digital Scholarship to 3D scan objects and master the skills needed to create your own life-size 3D-printed replicas.
This fully participatory workshop will take place on Tuesday 15 September, starting at 2:00pm and running for 90 minutes.
This is an immersive, hands-on session where you will operate 3D imaging rigs and learn how to 3D print from scans.
During the session, you will be guided through the practical steps of capturing a high-resolution 3D scan and preparing files for fabrication.
Participants are encouraged to bring in an item they may wished to have 3D scanned and 3D printed.
Please be aware that the 3D imaging equipment used to scan the objects involves the use of flashing lights.
