Skulls, skeletons and bones: Animal anatomy drawing workshop

Run time: 17.30 – 19.30

Take part in a drawing workshop with an animal anatomy twist! Pick up a pen, crayon or paint brush and learn how draw to animal bones and skeletons.

Join Fay Penrose and Rosie MacDiarmid from the School of Veterinary Science (University of Liverpool) to find out how drawing from bones can teach us about animal form and function.

We’ll warm up with some fun drawing exercises before moving on to draw a range of animal skulls and bones, both exotic and domestic. We’ll talk as we draw, discussing animal anatomy and the science behind it.

Everyone’s welcome – all materials will be provided and no previous drawing experience is necessary.

Please note that this event will involve animal bones & specimens. Due to the subject matter and the difficulty level of the workshop, this event is not appropriate for children under 16 years old.
