Tracking Liverpool’s wild side

Run time: 12.00 – 17.00

How much nature have you noticed recently?

The School of Biological and Environmental Sciences (Liverpool John Moores University) challenges you to track down Liverpool’s wild side!
Join them to find out more about the city’s flora and fauna, and discover tools and techniques wildlife researchers use in the field. Learn how to identify local plants and animals, connect with urban nature, and think about ways to protect it.

Collect an ID sheet, go out into the city and see what you can find! Then add your discoveries to our leader board – who will spot the most species?

Are you looking to try your hand at the activities while surrounded by nature? A second stall for this event will be running at Bluecoat gardens, just around the corner from Peter's Lane.
