The power of song

Run time: 12.00 – 13.30
Whether it’s in the shower, at a karaoke bar or in a choir – how does singing make you feel?

Join the Sofa Singers to find out how singing can boost your physical and mental health.

Meet new people, learn new songs, and take part in a pop-up Festival performance!

Musician James Sills will kick off with a short talk about how singing can support wellbeing. He’ll then lead an uplifting session designed to help you harness the transformative power of song. You’ll track your mood to discover the effect singing has.

Sofa Singers began during the COVID 19 pandemic and has grown into a vibrant global community, connecting hundreds of people across the world every week. They host regular sessions that create safe spaces for people all over the world to sing together.
