Seeing with sound
Run time: 11.30 – 17.00
Does music affect how we see art?
Join Tobiasz Trawinski (Liverpool Hope University) to find out how cognitive psychology can reveal the connection between visual perception, music and art.
Tobiasz will share research that suggests music could enhance and deepen the experiences we have in galleries and museums.
You’re invited to look at paintings while listening to different types of music. Using non-intrusive eye-tracking technology, we’ll capture your eye movements and show you how the music influences your engagement with the artworks.
Take home a postcard featuring your unique eye-movement pattern!
