Scope it out

Run time:
11.30 – 17.00

Have you
ever had an endoscopy? It’s a test that allows someone to look inside your body
using an endoscope – a long, thin tube with a small camera inside. Endoscopes
are also used to look inside everything from engines to animal burrows!

Join
researchers from across Liverpool John Moores University for interactive
activities that will reveal just how important endoscopic technology is.
Discover how endoscopes are used at different scales and across sectors, from
healthcare to engineering, wildlife science and even space exploration.

This event
is part of the Museum of Liverpool takeover, a day of free talks, workshops and
activities across the museum. Join us on Sunday 14 September 10.30-17.00.

Please note
that this event will involve mentions of cancer.
