Prescribed cannabis: Patient stories

Run time: 12.00 – 13.00

Cannabis has been available on prescription in the UK since 2018.
What impact has this change in the law had? How does it feel to be prescribed something that’s otherwise illegal?
Find out what cannabis medicine is, how it works and who’s using it during a patient-focused event featuring a short film, discussion, and Q&A.

Researchers from the Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion (Liverpool John Moores University) and the University of Liverpool will discuss their research and share the experiences of people who are prescribed cannabis.

This is a chance to have your questions about cannabis prescribing and UK drug policy answered.
A space to self-medicate will be available at this venue.
