I was there: Mapping Liverpool’s music scene
Run time: 12.00 – 17.00
Live music lovers – we need you!
The Department of Music (University of Liverpool) needs your help to map Liverpool’s live music hotspots, as they gather data that charts the city’s rich musical heritage.
Come along to share memories and stories about venues past and present. This is your chance to contribute to research about Liverpool’s vibrant live music scene and how it’s changing.
Please note, this venue for this event is on flat level but has uneven gravel surfaces. This makes the space difficult to navigate by wheelchair.
There’ll also be music history walking tours starting from this stall, journeying into the city centre to visit both iconic and less well-known places. The tours will start at 17.30 and 18.00; you'll be able to register for them while the stall is running on the day. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If you are joining the walking tours, please wear comfortable footwear and clothes appropriate for the day's weather conditions.
