Can you believe your eyes?

Run time: 18.00 – 21.30
Discover what we can learn about health by looking at our eyes.
The Department of Eye and Vision Science (University of Liverpool) will share the wonders of vision science and show how their groundbreaking research is transforming eye health.
Take part in a range of interactive activities and challenges: test your skills against AI at identifying eye cancer, guess which animal an eye belongs to under the microscope, use your gaze to eliminate virtual objects, and find out more about visual impairments using simulation goggles.

You can also have a photograph taken of your iris and take an image of it home with you.

Please note that this event will include flashing red and green images. Please note that this event will involve mentions of cancer.

This event is part of the British Science Festival takeover of Quirky Quarter, an evening of activities and performances that will encourage you to see the world from a whole new perspective! Book your free entry to Quirky Quarter here
