Blue Room Art Lab: Patterns, patterns, everywhere
Run time: 13.00 – 16.00
Delve into the fascinating patterns found on Earth and in space at this experimental art lab!
Join artists from Blue Room – an inclusive arts project for learning disabled and neurodivergent artists – for creative activities, demonstrations and displays.
Blue Room artists have been exploring astronomy, space and the planets through film, painting and drawing. They've delved into stories about starry constellations across different cultures, looked at space through telescopes with The School's Observatory, and designed worlds of their own.
Come along to find, make and discover patterns, patterns, everywhere!
The session is open to all: everyone is welcome. It will be tailored to learning disabled and neurodivergent adults. Children must be supervised at all times.
Blue Room is part of Bluecoat, a contemporary arts centre in Liverpool. The Schools Observatory provides an online platform for people to access 20+ telescopes around the world to observe space.
A quiet room will be available at this venue.
