Berry bright future

Run time:
11.30 – 17.00

Could
berries power the future?

Join
researchers at Newcastle University to discover how they’ve created a low-cost,
sustainable power source that combines the natural properties of berry juice
with state of the art technologies.

Berry Solar
Cells are printable, non-toxic and capable of generating continuous power from
both solar and artificial light sources. They have the potential to replace
batteries in certain applications and reduce our reliance on mined materials
such as silicon, cobalt, and lithium.

Come along
to get fruity and make your very own Berry Solar Cell.

This
event is part of the Museum of Liverpool takeover, a day of free talks,
workshops and activities across the museum. Join us on Sunday 14 September
10.30-17.00.
