Bee creative: Make candles & seed bombs
Run time – 13.00 – 14.30
Did you know there are more than 270 species of bee in Britain?
Join Andrea Ku, local artist and beekeeper, to discover more about different types of bees and find out what you can do to protect them.
During this workshop you can make a beautiful beeswax candle, using wax produced by Liverpool bees from across the city.
And you can create a wildflower seed bomb, using seeds collected from Liverpool’s green spaces including parks, coastal areas, verges and community gardens.
Drop your bomb and do your bit for bees – it’ll sow nectar-rich flowers that will help pollinators to survive and thrive.
Please note that this event will involve discussions of species losses and habitat destruction.
