As of the latest update of this page, the majority of our events are wheelchair accessible, except for a small number of venues. Please refer to each venue description below for an overview of its accessibility features.

Accessible travel
Blue Badge Parking
Blue Badge holders can park for free in most Liverpool City Council car parks and on-street pay and display bays. For details on these locations, please visit the City of Liverpool’s Blue Badge On-Street Parking Map and Car Parks.
Please note the following exceptions:
- Paddington Village, Victoria Street, and Royal Albert Dock Car Parks – standard parking charges apply.
- Mount Pleasant Multi-Storey Car Park – free parking is only available for Blue Badge holders in designated disabled bays on Level 5.
- Q-Park Car Parks – there are 180 Blue Badge parking spaces available across parking sites on Queen Square, Hanover Street, John Lewis and Liverpool ONE. Standard parking charges apply. Please visit their website for locations.
There are also a number of disabled parking bays available for Blue Badge holders on the University of Liverpool campus. Please refer to the University’s accessible parking map and webpage for details.

Bus Travel
All public buses in Liverpool are wheelchair accessible, featuring low floors, ramps, and designated spaces for wheelchair users, along with priority seating. Many services also offer audio and visual next-stop announcements.
Residents of Liverpool and Merseyside with a qualifying disability may be eligible for free local bus travel through the Merseytravel National Travel Pass. If you are unable to use standard bus services, Merseytravel also offers Merseylink, a free dial-a-ride service for eligible residents.

Rail Travel
Liverpool has two main central train stations – Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central – both of which are fully wheelchair accessible.

Mobility Aid Hire
Manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs, and mobility scooters are available to hire from Liverpool ONE’s Shopmobility service, located in the Liverpool ONE shopping centre. Equipment can be hired for short-term use or several days.
The service is open to residents and visitors with limited mobility and operates from Level 3 of Q-Park Liverpool ONE, which includes designated disabled parking bays for Shopmobility users.

Toilets
All of our venues have toilet facilities available. Most of our venues also feature accessible toilets on or near the premises. For specific details or exceptions, please refer to the venue descriptions below.
In addition to venue facilities, there are several public toilets with accessible facilities available in the city centre. You can find these using the National Public Toilet Map.
For those needing further support, Changing Places toilets are available throughout Liverpool. You can use the Change Places Toilets website for more information on locations and facilities.

Our friendly Festival Assistants will be at all events and are happy to help—whether you have a question, need directions, or want to know more about the facilities at each venue.
If you’d like a little extra support, you can pick up a Sunflower Lanyard from our Info Desk on Peter’s Lane during opening hours. This discreetly lets our team know you may need additional assistance or a bit more time.

Pavement level access to FACT is available on Wood Street, with ramp access at the rear on Fleet Street. Inside, all areas including galleries and cinema screens are wheelchair accessible. A lift serves all floors from the main foyer next to the Box Office.

There is no dedicated multi-faith prayer or quiet room within the Cathedral.

Facilities
Accessible toilets are located on all floors, including wheelchair-accessible facilities. Gender-neutral toilets are available on the first floor.
Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor and in the accessible toilet on the second floor.
A Changing Places toilet is located on the ground floor; please note the sink is at a fixed height. Visitors may need to request access through a member of staff.
A prayer room is available on the first floor for those needing a quiet space.
Two manual wheelchairs are available for loan at the information desk, subject to availability.
Additional sensory resources, such as ear defenders, can be signed out at the Welcome Desk.
Lockers are available on the ground floor for hire (£2 plus a £3 refundable deposit), including larger lockers suitable for buggies.
