Warwick Family Day: Explore, Discover, Experiment

On Saturday 14 September from 10am – 5pm the University of Warwick is hosting an extra special Family Day, in association with Jaguar Land Rover.

The event will be a jam-packed day of discovery and exploration for families with children up to the age of 11. The University’s campus will be transformed with dozens of stalls, workshops, talks, performances and much, much more.

The programme explores a range of themes including:

  • All about me
  • Make it
  • Play it
  • Dinosaurs
  • Cities of the future
  • Our planet
  • Ancient Worlds
  • Move it

The family science day will feature a jam-packed programme

Highlights include YouTube filmmaker and BAFTA-winning children’s presenter, Maddie Moate, who will be taking audiences on a mission to Mars.

You can also expect to encounter roaming dinosaurs and honeybees, discover Warwick’s exciting research, create something new with our mosaic and pottery making, or try your hand at activities such as creative coding or interactive maths.

There will be plenty of food and drinks stations from the University’s food market and cafes or you can bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the campus’ dedicated picnic areas.
