Time travelling trees

Run time: 13:00 – 14:00, 15:00 – 16:00, 17:00 – 18:00
Ever wondered how climate change is impacting our forests? Deep in the heart of a Staffordshire woodland, the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research are trying to find out.
By releasing carbon dioxide to simulate Earth’s predicted atmosphere for 2050 they’re constructing a woodland of the future.
Join them to build a picture of what’s happening to the trees under these conditions.

Step inside their escape room challenge made from a virtual simulation of this woodland. Work with researchers from the Institute to uncover clues and solve puzzles. Explore your surroundings and solve the mystery of protecting our tree species and avoid getting locked in the forest forever!
