The future of heat

Wednesday, September 11 • 16:00 - 17:00

We rely on heating at home and in the workplace; and yet, it is the largest source of our greenhouse gas emissions.

Whilst we are seeing more renewable energy on the grid, and cleaner cars on our roads, heat remains one of the UK’s biggest decarbonisation challenges, and one that is all to often overlooked.

How are we planning on solving this grand challenge facing society and what low-carbon measures are already in place? Join broadcaster and architect Piers Taylor along with guests Ed Syson (Cadent) and Kate Algate (Citizens Advice Coventry) to discuss.

This event is supported by Cadent.

You can find out more about Cadent’s events and activities at the Festival here.
