The future of energy production

Run time: 13:00 – 14:00
Nuclear Fusion, the powerful technology which mirrors the energy-generating processes of the sun, offers a promising path to a world powered by limitless and clean energy.
Join Tan Sui's team of researchers from the University of Surrey to explore the mechanism of nuclear fusion energy and have a go at making a mini reactor from scratch!
Together, you’ll explore the challenges and solutions in mechanical engineering, with a special focus on structural integrity and safe operation. This workshop is a unique opportunity to explore nuclear fusion energy and its engineering design.
