Tackling male infertility and the quest for male contraception
16 September 2022 - 14:00
Queen's Building, Lecture Theatre 1.12, De Montfort University

Event duration: 60 minutes
While the science of reproduction, fertility and contraception has historically focussed on women, in recent years there has been a shift to focus on men’s role within this.
Join a panel of De Montfort University researchers and experts from fertility healthcare, from the worlds of medicine, psychology and sociology who are leading work in this area.
Together, they’ll discuss how infertility affects men and explore how new technologies have emerged to address male infertility, the concept of ‘social sperm freezing’, and the continuing quest for the ‘male pill’.
Please note this event includes discussion of infertility.
