Stitch ‘n’ stem

Run time: 14:00 – 15:00
Still trying to wrap your head around stem cells? Or just trying to wrap cotton threads? Either way, Norah Fogarty and her team from King’s College London can help.
Their workshop will give you the opportunity to discuss cutting edge research on stem cells, what they can do, and where they could lead the future of healthcare and medicine. All whilst keeping your hands busy embroidering some of the interesting patterns and images of stem cells captured in the lab.
Whether you’re a beginner or a sewing bee extraordinaire, all are welcome.
