Nature’s vampires¬†

Run time: 10:30 – 17:00
Ticks are known for transmitting nasty diseases, but would you recognise one? If a one of these little vampires latches on, do you know how to remove it? It takes more than just garlic and a crucifix.
Luckily, Sally Cutler and her team from the University of East London are here to demonstrate what to do if you find yourself in this situation. Join them to get up close and personal with ticks under the microscope. Then discover more about the team’s fascinating research that is helping to better predict and prevent tick-borne diseases.
