Make science come alive with UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK – real-life projects taking place this year in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and online. We are bringing a taste of these awe-inspiring experiences, that all combine science with arts, to the festival.
- Soar through a scale model of the solar system designed by artist Oliver Jeffers and astrophysicist Stephen Smartt.
- Climb aboard SEE MONSTER, a North Sea offshore platform that’s being transformed into a giant artwork in Weston-Super-Mare
- Learn about the brain with optical illusions and compare how your perception compares with that of others.
UNBOXED has created 10 incredible projects that showcase what happens when scientists and artists come together. We celebrate creativity – because it changes the world.
