This is a drop-in event, running between 18.00-23.00 – there is no need to book.
On average, each day we consume over 10,000 litres of air, enough to fill around 1250 balloons. For many of us, however, this air is filled with harmful pollutants. Air pollution control devices can filter the air, but these are expensive and use up a lot of energy – they’re not accessible to the most vulnerable.
In this activity, work with De Montfort University researchers who are creating cheaper, more environmentally-friendly, air filtering devices. They’ll take you through the basics of pollution control devices and give you an opportunity to design your own.
This drop-in activity is part of our LCB Depot Takeover event.
