Knock, knock… who’s there? In this installation, artificial intelligence (AI) is used to create a tango, danced between two places – the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery and Highcross Shopping Centre.
At each venue, you’ll get to observe the other through a series of dynamically changing images within an abstract structure. The movements of visitors at each venue triggers what is seen by the other, having a direct response and enabling the work to evolve over time.
A version of this mind-bending installation, created by digital arts pioneer, Ernest Edmonds, was premiered at the Dubai Expo 2020, connecting with Leicester at the LCB Depot.
