Dignity in menstruation

Run time: 11:30 – 13:00
Many people menstruate and many others don’t. No matter who you are or what your background is, this is a normal part of being alive. It may not always feel like this, however, as there so much stigma and lack of awareness attached to menstruation.
Meera Tiwari and her team at the University of East London believe it’s everyone’s responsibility to break this stigma. They’re developing a framework with communities across India, Nepal and the UK, to identify ways of improving menstrual health through discussing dignity.

Join their workshop to learn more about combatting the societal stigma associated with menstruation and help to support dignity in menstruation.
