Calming canoe journeys

Join the Canal & River Trust as they launch their new initiative ‘5 ways to
wellbeing’, a series of activities rooted in social prescribing that promote
positive mental health and physical wellbeing.

Hop in a canoe and paddle gently down stream at a tranquil pace. Escape the
city and enjoy some of the sights and sounds of local wildlife.

You don’t have to be a swimmer but if you are not confident in the water,
although it is shallow, please consider if taking part in this event is for
you. Don't forget a change of clothes!
